These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Familare website at familareba.pro and the workshops and programmes offered by Familare. By visiting our website or booking a session, you agree to these terms. Please read them before making an enquiry or booking.

1. About Familare

Familare operates as a workshop and facilitation practice based at 11 Jalan Tun Razak, 50400 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan, Malaysia. We offer family communication sessions, household reference workshops, and family records programmes. All sessions are educational and administrative in nature. Familare does not provide professional advice in any regulated field.

2. Scope of our workshops

Our workshops are educational and skills-based. They are designed to help households develop practical approaches to organising household records and structuring conversations about household matters. The sessions are not a substitute for professional advice. Specifically:

  • We do not provide financial planning or investment advice.
  • We do not provide legal advice or prepare legal documents.
  • We do not provide counselling, psychology, or any form of therapeutic support.
  • We do not provide medical or health-related guidance.
  • We do not offer opinions on specific household or personal arrangements.

If you require professional advice in any of these areas, we encourage you to seek a suitably qualified practitioner.

3. Bookings and enquiries

Bookings are made by completing the contact form on our website or by contacting us directly by telephone. A booking is not confirmed until we have sent you written confirmation by email. We reserve the right to decline any enquiry at our discretion without being required to give a reason.

Session details including date, time, location, and the number of participants will be confirmed in writing at the time of booking. Amendments to booking details must be requested in writing and are subject to availability.

4. Fees and payment

Our current workshop fees are as follows:

  • Family Conversation Session: RM 520
  • Household Reference Workshop: RM 1,500
  • Family Records Programme: RM 4,400

Fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit and are inclusive of any materials indicated in the session description. Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking. Fees are not inclusive of any third-party costs you may incur such as printing, stationery, or storage materials beyond those provided by Familare.

5. Cancellations and rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please contact us as early as possible. Our cancellation terms are as follows:

  • More than 7 days before the session: Full refund or reschedule at no charge.
  • 3 to 7 days before the session: Reschedule at no charge; cancellation subject to an administration fee of RM 150.
  • Less than 3 days before the session: No refund; rescheduling may be possible at our discretion and may be subject to a fee.

If Familare needs to cancel or reschedule a session due to unforeseen circumstances, we will contact you as early as possible and offer a full reschedule at no additional cost or a full refund of any fees paid.

6. Materials provided

Workshop materials such as prompt decks, agenda templates, folder sets, and printed handbooks are provided for your household's personal use. These materials are prepared by Familare and remain our intellectual property. They may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without our written permission.

7. Participant conduct

Our sessions are intended to be calm, constructive, and respectful for all participants. We reserve the right to end a session early if participant conduct makes it impractical to continue. In such a case, fees will not be refunded.

8. Website use

You may use our website for the purpose of learning about our workshops and making an enquiry. You must not use the website in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or disruptive. The content on our website is provided for general information purposes only. While we take care to keep information accurate, we do not warrant that it is complete or up to date at all times.

9. Limitation of liability

Familare's workshops are educational in nature. We make no representation that participation in any session will produce specific outcomes for your household. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Familare's liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of our services is limited to the fees you paid for the relevant session. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, layout, and workshop materials, is the property of Familare or its content providers. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of this website or our workshop materials without our prior written consent.

11. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

12. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from your use of our website or services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our website or services after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
