Our Workshops
Three formats. Each one ends with something your household can use.
A short session, a half-day workshop, and a multi-session programme. Choose the one that matches where your household is right now.
โ Back to HomeOur Methodology
How we structure every session.
Each Familare workshop is built around a simple principle: families should leave with something physical and usable, not just new ideas. This shapes how we allocate time within sessions. A significant portion of every session is working time โ families sort, label, discuss, and assemble their outputs with facilitation support, rather than listening to a presentation and being sent home to implement it alone.
Before each session, participants complete a short intake form so the facilitator understands the household's starting point. Materials are prepared in advance based on those responses. This preparation means the working time in the session is productive from the first few minutes.
Our scope is strictly educational and administrative. We do not advise on legal, financial, or personal household decisions. Every session opens with a brief explanation of what falls within our scope and what we refer elsewhere โ this keeps the session practical and removes ambiguity about what participants can expect.
Group sizes are kept small. The Household Reference Workshop runs with a maximum of eight participants across several households. The Family Conversation Session and Family Records Programme are single-household formats. Sessions run at our premises on Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur.

Shared Standards
What applies to every session we run.
Participant privacy
Information shared by one household is never passed to other participants. Intake responses and session notes are held only for the duration of the programme.
Scope transparency
Every session opens with a brief summary of what we cover and what falls outside our scope. Participants know from the start what to expect.
Quality-prepared materials
All printed outputs are prepared in advance and reviewed before sessions. We do not distribute improvised or underprepared materials.
Regular content review
Session materials are reviewed twice a year to ensure all frameworks, labels, and templates remain relevant to current household needs.
Pre-session intake
A short intake questionnaire ensures the facilitator understands the household before arrival. No session begins without this preparation.
In-person Kuala Lumpur delivery
All sessions take place at our Jalan Tun Razak premises. In-person delivery enables real working time with actual documents.
